THE NEW SCIENCE OF WELLBEING:
How To Thrive In Life and Work
*

* Also available, “The New Science of Leadership Wellbeing" tailored to the needs of today's leaders.

When times get hard, your wellbeing becomes more important than ever. It’s not always easy to feel motivated or effective—in work, school or life—when we’re overwhelmed and stressed. Although there are some things in our lives we can’t control, there are small and powerful things we can. In fact, 40% of our wellbeing comes from using a set of practical skills that anyone can learn. Let’s start there.

In this program, you’ll learn how to:

  • Rewire your brain’s ancient negativity bias

  • Manage your nervous system to build calm and focus

  • Practice a brain-training exercise shown to boost wellbeing up to 25%

“…My inbox and ears have been flooded with positive feedback about Darlene’s presentation. Our folks were truly exhilarated and inspired! Combining data with real-life tools to prioritize our wellbeing was an all-out hit!”
- Senior Leader

MINDFULNESS FOR BUSY PEOPLE: How To Go From Stress to Calm

Given the uncertainties of our times, many of us feel stressed and exhausted. Mindfulness is a strategy that is particularly effective at developing the brain’s ability to be more agile during life’s difficulties. Studies show that people who practice mindfulness techniques report up to 60% less anxiety and 5 times more productivity than before.

In this program, you will learn to:

  • Speed your recovery from the stress response and restore balance in your mind and body

  • Train your brain to handle stress more effectively by infusing mindfulness into everyday tasks at work, home and school

  • Develop 3 “attention anchors” to strengthen your calm and clarity

“Darlene’s warm, compassionate approach created such a safe and supportive environment for our learning and growth. I am truly grateful for the clarity and calm her work has brought into my life.” - Program Participant
